In the recent years, artiste, Sammul Chan (陳鍵鋒) had been developing his career in Mainland China and seldom appeared in Hong Kong. He acted as Jiang Ziya (姜子牙) in the Mainland China series, The Investiture of the Gods (封神英雄), which will be broadcasted on day 1 of Lunar New Year. As Sammul cared about his looks very much, he rejected to act this role which required him to act as an old man before. However, he agreed to accept the role after the scriptwriter amended the 'Jiang Ziya' role to a young promising man.
