Jackie Chan filmed water scene personally and almost died in Guangxi


International artist Jackie Chan (成龍) and Fan Bingbing (范冰冰) are the main leads of action movie, Skiptrace (絕地逃亡). The filming takes place at 7 places in 3 countries and 360 million (HKD) is invested into the movie. 61 years old Jackie is used to filming action scenes personally and he does not use any replacement in this movie. Jackie was reminded of the filming and said: "I almost died in Guangxi."

The scene illustrated Jackie was drifting in the river and it was as deep as 15 metres and the river was full of uneven stones. During the filming, Jackie was caught in a broad eddy and kept struggling in the water, and he failed to get into the boat. The crew team member saw his expression of giving up hope when Jackie was in the water but fortunately, he was able to get out from the danger successfully. When Jackie was thinking of the scene in Guangxi, he said: "I was in a state of panic and very scared." Bingbing also filmed jumping from the building and water scenes personally and most unforgettable was the water scene, as it was difficult to film.
